Beautiful cottage in quiet area. Equipped with all comforts. Good beds. Smooth contact with the landlord.

Mooi huisje in rustige omgeving. Voorzien van alle comfort. Goede bedden. Vlot contact met de verhuurder.

Lovely relaxing week, cottage is small but comfortable, good central heating, TV and wifi, books, magazines and binoculars are available, large terrace with lots of greenery without overlooking. Double bed has double mattress, my friend found that too hard and moved to the single bed in the other room. There you lie with your head against the boiler hanging on the other side of the wall in the corridor. It makes a lot of noise when it is on, even my friend who sleeps through everything woke up. You have to take that into account if you want to use that bed. We didn't use the wood stove and bikes, we brought our own. Less than 100 meters from the park is a bicycle node bike path. Beautiful golf course in Maarsbergen. Contact with owner was easy and pleasant.

Heerlijk ontspannen week gehad, huisje is klein maar comfortabel, goeie cv, tv en wifi, boeken, tijdschriften en verrekijker zijn aanwezig, groot terras met veel groen zonder inkijk. Tweepersoonsbed heeft tweepersoonsmatras, mijn vriend vond dat te hard en verkaste naar het éénpersoonsbed op de andere kamer. Daar lig je wel met je hoofd tegen de cv-ketel die aan de andere kant van de muur op de gang hangt. Die maakt als hij aanslaat veel lawaai, zelfs mijn vriend die overal doorheen slaapt werd daar wakker van. Daar moet je rekening mee houden als je dat bed wilt gebruiken. De houtkachel en fietsen hebben wij niet gebruikt, wij hadden onze eigen fietsen mee. Op nog geen 100 meter van het park ligt een fietsknoopuntenfietspad.

Contact met eigenaar ging makkelijk en was prettig.

Most people, like my partner, will find the cottage and the park to be very quiet. However, I am (extremely) hypersensitive to sound. By "quiet" I expect to hear only wind, water and birds. However, upon arrival I heard neighbor children playing outside, traffic from the N-road, and very distant thumping of music. So it was a bit of a scare for me and switching gears. But that worked out fortunately, also because at the end of the first day those noises disappeared. The cottage is quietly located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the edge of the forest. We both enjoyed the greenery, the many birds and their songs. The cottage is small but everything is there. Cooking is a bit improvised with two burners and few ordinary pans. Location relative to the village, supermarket, forest and cycling is fantastic. Many restaurants nearby, enough trips to include Bosbad Leersum, House Doorn, Amerongen Castle and Ouwehands Zoo. We have had a wonderful week.

De meeste mensen zullen, net als mijn partner, het huisje en het park als heel stil ervaren. Ik ben echter (extreem) overgevoelig voor geluid. Bij ‘stil’ verwacht ik alleen wind, water en vogels te horen. Bij aankomst hoorde ik echter buiten spelende buurkinderen, het verkeer van de N-weg, en heel in de verte gedreun van muziek. Het was voor mij dus even schrikken en schakelen. Maar dat lukte gelukkig, ook omdat aan het einde van de eerste dag die geluiden verdwenen. Het huisje is rustig gelegen aan het einde van een doodlopende weg in de rand van het bos. Wij hebben allebei genoten van het groen, de vele vogels en hun gezang. Het huisje is klein maar alles is er. Koken is wat improviseren met twee pitten en weinig gewone pannen. Ligging t.o.v. het dorp, supermarkt, bos en fietsknooppuntenroutes is fantastisch. Veel horeca in de buurt, genoeg uitstapjes naar o.a. Bosbad Leersum, Huis Doorn, Kasteel Amerongen en Ouwehands Dierenpark. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad.
