Nature house in Tienhoven

A small paradise just outside Utrecht, in the former peat area between Utrecht and Amsterdam. A nature house equipped with all the necessary luxuries: shower, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a large living room. One bedroom has a large double bed. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds that can be switched to a double bed, or stacked if you only want to use one bed. The living room has windows all around and a lovely hanging sofa. It is bright even on dark days and has views of nature and water almost all around. A fantastic veranda with French doors and hanging chair with a view to dream away. A fire bowl on the grass in front of the porch provides a warm outdoor space on cool evenings. In warm weather, you can dive right off the porch into the water. Or go for a paddle in our Canadian canoe. The cottage is best for 3 people, but with a little arrangement, it can sleep 4.

The nature house is located on the Maarsseveense plassen and 5 minutes from the Loosdrecht lakes. Less than two hundred meters away is the beautiful Spa Sereen, an atmospheric sauna on the Maarsseveense plassen. If you want a nice walk in the woods, you can go to Lage Vuursche or the Hilversumse heide, both fifteen minutes away.For those who can't handle so much peace and quiet, there is plenty to do within a short distance. Utrecht center is within cycling distance. Shopping, eating out and lots of nightlife throughout the week. There are also plenty of nice to lovely restaurants in the vicinity. Bistro Belle (van Zuylen) is a bistro on the Vecht at a stone's throw from Slot Zuylen, 2 birds with one stone. Something more luxurious you can eat at Buitenplaats Slangevecht (also a/d Vecht) and in the village of Maarssen is the place to go: Ted's, cozy loungy with terrace.
