This 300-year-old stone house was a ruin when we bought it. It took us 3 years to rebuild it and add contemporary features. We have added solar panels and underfloor heating, 2 fireplaces with open fires for fall and winter and lots of love! The 2.5 floors are connected by internal stairs, so there are only open spaces. There is a double bed in the gallery, a balcony and access to the roof terrace. There is 1 sofa bed on the first floor and 1 on the 1st floor. There is a separate bedroom with its own bathroom in the annexe. The kitchen is very spacious and fully equipped. The 2. The second bathroom has a vaulted ceiling and is also very spacious. In the garden there are olive trees, 1 cherry tree, fig tree, mimosa and mulberry tree, for bookings out of season please ask for the price!
Nature and surroundings
All around is the typical Mediterranean forest and olive groves. There are 3 old barracks from the Austro-Hungarian Empire to visit, the sea and various beaches all around, old fishing villages with the beginnings of tourism. Good restaurants with fresh fish dishes and traditional cuisine. You should also visit the towns of Kotor and Budva, luxury can be found in PortoMontenegro and in the new project on our peninsula LUŚTICABAY. . You feel at home and are warmly welcomed! Regarding waste: the country is tentatively starting to recycle, but in remote areas like here on LUSTICA it doesn't work yet. If we have plastic waste or anything else of concern, I always take it back to Austria with me. That reassures me.
