Nature house in Batalha

On a beautiful hillside just outside Batalha, among olive trees, are four spacious bungalows in typical Portuguese pastel colors and the main building with reception/breakfast room. The cozy 40 m² bungalows are tastefully decorated to create a relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom is luxurious and the comfortable box-spring beds ensure you sleep well. For two additional guests, there is a comfortable sofa bed with a top mattress for extra comfort. There is ample closet space, a kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, an electric kettle, a microwave and a refrigerator complete the package. All bungalows have a beautiful private veranda made of natural stone where it is nice and quiet all day and where you have a beautiful view over the valley of Batalha and the famous monastery. You can watch the sun set on your own veranda while enjoying a drink.

An old olive plantation on a hill overlooking the beautiful valley of Batalha with lots of greenery, vineyards, olive groves and the famous monastery becomes your home. Its central location among a wealth of historical sites and cities is the perfect starting point to visit the pilgrimage site of Fatima, the queen city of Obidos, the beautiful monastery of Alcobaça, the "Convento de Christo" in Tomar and many other places of interest. The famous fishing town of Nazaré with its fortress and beautiful church on the high "Sticio" and its fine beaches with sometimes waves 25 - 30 meters high together with the quiet coastal villages of Valé de Paredes and Pedro de Moel, both with their own charm, offer a wide choice of beaches within 30 minutes drive. The city of Leiria with its beautiful old town, the "Castello" and many good restaurants and authentic stores is also very nice for a day out. The cities of Coimbra, Lisbon and Porto are also good for day trips.
