This nature house is a 2019 completely luxurious renovated salon wagon / mobile homes. The wagon is 12.5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. The wagon is in the back of our garden and overlooks the nature reserve. Under the old chestnut tree you have your own beautiful private terrace. You are surrounded by our farm animals: pigs Dries and Bellie. Goats Linda, Roos and Jessica, the sheep and ducks. Our nature house can only be booked for adults.
Nature and surroundings
You are in the middle of the Nieuwkoopse Plassen area. At 400 meters as the crow flies there is a spoonbill colony. You see spoonbills flying over daily. Besides spoonbills you can also spot egrets and purple herons. At night you can regularly hear a barn owl. Take a walk into the meadows and spot the old mill from 1676 or go swimming in the river which is a 5-minute walk away. During your stay you have access to 2 city bikes. Go on an adventure! At 5 min cycling you can rent canoes and electric boats. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the neighborhood of which 2 within cycling distance with a view of the Nieuwkoop lakes.
