Nature house in Wittstock /Dosse (Christdorf)

Unfortunately it was damp and unclean in the accommodation we moved into as a replacement. I can't recommend it as unclean is a very euphemistic word.

Leider war es feucht und unsauber in der Unterkunft, in die wir ersatzweise gezogen sind. Ich kann es nicht weiterempfehlen, da unsauber noch sehr beschönigend ist.

There were signs of burglary on the patio door and the house was very old. It was dirty.

An der Terassenrür waren Einbruchsspuren und das Haus war sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es war dreckig.

So very mediocre. Not worth repeating.

Heel matig dus. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

The surroundings are quite nice. Also a nice idea to be at an active farm. Unfortunately, within a day I already had the desire to leave. It was so unclean that I only dared to put my things on the coffee table. Furthermore, lots of cobwebs everywhere, not to barely vacuumed, drain sinks were not clean, porch was too dirty to sit anywhere. I do not expect a super-luxurious, shiny interior. But this really went too far for me. Since there was plenty to do outdoors (always when you have a car at your disposal), we sat out the days. But more elsewhere than at or in the cottage - quite a shame, in other words.

De omgeving is best leuk. Ook een leuk idee om bij een actieve boerderij te zitten. Helaas had ik binnen een dag al de wens er weg te gaan.
Het was er dusdanig onfris, dat ik mijn spullen alleen op de salontafel durfde neer te zetten. Verder veel spinrag overal, niet tot amper gestofzuigd, afvoer wasbakken waren niet schoon, veranda was te vies om ergens te zitten.
Ik verwacht geen superluxe, glansend interieur. Maar dit ging me echt te ver.
Omdat er voldoende buitenshuis te doen was (altijd als je een auto tot je beschikking hebt), hebben we de dagen uitgezeten. Maar meer elders dan bij of in het huisje.
Heel jammer, dus.

Even though the dogs barking was a bit annoying and only two hobs worked, we were very happy overall. A very nice, quiet and secluded place where you rarely see people and where you can relax.

Auch wenn das Hundegebell etwas gestört hat und nur zwei Kochfelder funktioniert haben, waren wir insgesamt doch sehr sehr zufrieden. Ein sehr schöner, ruhiger und abgelegener Ort, an dem man selten Menschen sieht und man sich entspannen kann.

Very quiet and nice atmosphere, especially at night. The nearby lake can't really be used for swimming. But there are a lot of frogs and they make a wonderful background noise at night. The dogs were a bit annoying because we had a dog with us. They were constantly barking at each other. Otherwise everything was very nice. The hosts, who live in the same house (different entrance), were very nice and left us alone. We were also allowed to use the wood for the fireplace in the room. For dogs: Be careful, take a very good tick repellent with you!

Sehr ruhige und schöne Atmosphäre, vor allem nachts.

Der naheliegende See kann nicht wirklich zum Baden genutzt werden. Aber da sind sehr viele Frösche und die machen nachts eine wunderschöne HIntergrundkulisse an Geräuschen.

Die Hunde waren etwas nervig, weil wir selbst einen Hund dabei hatten. Ständig hatten sie sich gegenseitig angebellt. Ansonsten war alles sehr schön. Die Gastgeber, die im gleichen Haus (anderer Eingang) wohnen, waren sehr nett, und ließen uns aber auch in Ruhe. Für den Kamin im Zimmer durften wir auch das Holz benutzen.

Bei Hunden: Vorsicht, ein sehr gutes Mittel gegen Zecken mitnehmen!
