Unique overnight stay in a private food forest! This cozy, detached forest house with adjacent ground-level studio sleeps 1-5, with free Wi-Fi and TV. This bright forest house consists of a house and detached compact studio. The house has a living room, an open kitchen with dining room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The studio is ground floor, has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. In addition to a fire pit, there are several outdoor seating options, including in the gazebo with lounge set, there are 2 hammocks and 2 tandems. Parking is available on private property (at your own risk). You can enjoy the sun from morning to late evening or find a spot in the shade. Hiking and biking trails start at the forest house. A guarantee for a luxurious and carefree stay on 1ha private (food) forest, in the middle of forest area Molenheide located near a Natura 2000 area (Strabrechtse heide).
Nature and surroundings
The forest house, is located in the middle of a nature reserve to the bicycle and, - walking route network, mountain bike routes and equestrian routes. Plenty of opportunities to go out in the immediate vicinity. n 10 minutes by bike you are in Mierlo and you come along the Strabrechtse hoeve, the nature gateway to the Strabrechtse heath (Natura 2000). Geldrop-Mierlo has many other beautiful natural areas: Dommeldal (stream valley right through Geldrop), Molenheide (forest area between Mierlo and Geldrop), Gijzenrooi (small-scale cultural landscape southwest of Geldrop) and Sang and Goorkens (wet natural pearl southeast of Mierlo). These areas are freely accessible to hikers and cyclists. The van Gogh National Park is within cycling distance. The cozy places Geldrop and Mierlo have centers with nice stores and cozy restaurants. Eindhoven and Helmond are easily accessible for those who want to visit museums, industrial heritage, theaters, cinemas and stores.
