Nature house in Swolgen

A lovely, cozy and unique cottage in the woods, in Limburg. This cottage is located in northern Limburg, in the Swolgen woods, along the Pieterpad and on the outskirts of Swolgen. It is a place, which lets you breathe in nature, both outside and inside. With the keywords: tranquility, nature, simplicity. The cottage is beautifully renovated with natural eco-materials such as loam, straw, wood and cork. With the wood stove, this house has the atmosphere of a real and unique nature house! Heating is available. The cozy kitchenette has an induction hob and electric oven. The bedrooms are small: one room has a double bed against the wall, a second room has a single bed and a semi-high sleeper. The (forest) garden is fenced and the covered veranda offer complete privacy in the greenery, with many birds, squirrels and sometimes even badgers and deer. There is also a wood-fired mud pizza oven, a tree house, sandbox and a hammock. A warm welcome to our forest cottage!

Come and enjoy the silence, birds and animals of adjacent extensive nature reserves such as the Swolgender Heide, Het Schuitwater, t Schoor, Kaldenbroek. Beautiful nature reserves on the west bank of the Maas connecting the picturesque and cozy Maas villages, with many terraces on the river. Very wide range of hiking and cycling routes, also for mountain bikers. Along Swolgen flows the new Maasarm, a real must for bird lovers. On the other side, on the east bank of the Maas, lies the vast National Park the Maasduinen, with e.g. the Reindersmeer. About fifteen kilometers westward you will find a completely different landscape, the vast and rugged moorland of the Peel. Also in the immediate vicinity: Hertog Jan Brewery, De Kasteeltuinen and Thermaalbad in Arcen, Toverland, Aarbeienland and Mind Mystery House in Horst, Zoo-park in Overloon. The free day beach Kasteelse Bossen is nearby. Many museums and stores (including outlet) in Venlo and Roermond.
