Nature house in Castelre

Castelré is a particularly beautiful and quiet hamlet in a protected natural landscape as it looked 100 years ago. The rooms in Buitenverblijf Castel are spacious, cozy and equipped with all comforts which immediately gives a "home away from home" feeling. The combination with the spacious garden (with trampoline, playground, hammocks, table, seating areas), overlooking the surrounding meadows, makes this country house a place where it's great to stay. A perfect base for cycling, hiking and horseback riding or a visit to some nearby cities such as Belgian Hoogstraten, Antwerp or Breda!

Our nature house is in a unique place: in a small hamlet with only 8 to 10 farms, surrounded by meadows and in the middle of the nature reserve the Belgian Kempen. Buitenverblijf Castel is located on a dirt road, which runs towards Minderhout and the street 't Groeske runs to the small river 't Merkse, which forms the border with Belgium. From the house there are endless walks and bike rides. The carrot colony (with 1000 hectares of forest land) is a 20-minute walk from the residence. The pleasant village of Hoogstraten (with many restaurants, pubs, terraces, fashion stores, beguinage, large church et cetera.) is five kilometers away; Breda & Antwerp are both 25 kilometers away.
