Nature and surroundings
Rural location on the outskirts of the village with beautiful cycling + (mountain bike), hiking and horse-riding routes in close proximity. The protected nature reserve Engbertsdijkvenen with heathland, fens, moors and a peat museum two kilometers from the location is definitely a must. At a distance of 200 meters from the nature house a swimming pond and fishing pond. In the village Westerhaar a Peat Museum, supermarket, butcher, ice cream parlor, restaurant, pizzeria, cafeteria and a farm store Nearby. At 300m distance a swimming pond where you can take a walk.Cozy villages like Hellendoorn, Hardenberg, Dedemsvaart, Ommen, Ootmarsum and Tubbergen where you will find a wide range of glass art and paintings and nice terraces. Tourist information available in B & B. Rent electric bicycle , mountain bike or canoe possible. Location six kilometers from the German border.
