An old Valpolicella farmhouse dating back to 1812, nestled in the natural beauty of the Marano Valley, is located between Verona and Lake Garda. With a total area of 350 meters, it spans two floors and can accommodate up to 7 people. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living area with two living rooms featuring fireplaces and satellite TV, a bathroom with a laundry area, and a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as a dining room; the old stable has been converted into a relaxation area. On the first floor are three bedrooms: a spacious room with a double bed that can accommodate a crib upon request, two twin rooms with single beds and fireplaces, a single room, and a bathroom with a shower. All rooms are furnished with antique furniture, rugs, and crystal chandeliers, featuring original wooden floors and ceilings, and all offer views of the valley. Outside, there is a private garden area with tables, chairs, and sun loungers. There is also a new outdoor wellness area with a heated Jacuzzi tub.
Nature and surroundings
Our farm, where we grow cherries and produce olive oil. Here, you can stroll freely or set out on excursions into the natural beauty of Valpolicella, a famous wine-growing region where “Amarone” wine is produced—not only a culinary delight but also the starting point for hikes or electric bike rides. The “Parco Cascate di Molina” area is particularly beautiful, as is the picturesque “Tibetan” bridge in Valsorda. For history lovers, a visit to the Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Minerva, or to the “Fumane Cave”—an important archaeological site related to Neanderthals and later Homo sapiens—is a must. The valley also offers visits to ancient “Romanesque parish churches” or patrician villas. The Church of Santa Maria Valverde dates back to the 1500s. Just a few kilometers away, you can admire and experience the beauty of Lake Garda and Mount Baldo with its botanical garden of flowers.
