Nature house in Käbschütztal

The farm is an idyllic 200-year-old listed manor house in the hills around Meissen, which is being renovated in an ecologically friendly manner. The apartments have wooden floorboards, clay plaster and high-quality ecological paints on the walls, as well as stylish, original wooden windows. Insulation and heating are also provided using only natural materials. It is a farm with chickens, sheep, pigs, several ponies, rabbits, alpacas and even a few kangaroos. Guest children are welcome to help feed the animals and get a freshly laid hen's egg from the coop every day. The extremely large outdoor area is very well maintained with many idyllic seating areas, swings, hammocks, a sand and volleyball court, a labyrinth and various play equipment. Above all, however, the courtyard is a peaceful place where you can find peace and quiet. The library, which is open to all guests, offers enough reading material for every conceivable interest.

The historic and beautifully renovated town of Meissen with its impressive Albrechtsburg castle is 10 km away. Dresden and Leipzig can be reached in 30 and 60 minutes respectively. The hiking region of Saxon Switzerland is easily accessible (also by S-Bahn from Meissen), as are the Ore Mountains and Upper Lusatia. There are a number of hiking and cycling trails through the neighboring valleys right from the farm, whose historic mills offer beer gardens and places to stop for refreshments. Guests at the Luminohof receive an information booklet with detailed information on excursion tips in the region. However, many guests also like to stay on the farm all day and take advantage of the many possibilities, play with the animals or enjoy the peace and quiet.
