On a beautiful hillside just outside Batalha, among olive trees, are four spacious bungalows in typical Portuguese pastel colors and the main building with reception/breakfast room. The cozy 40 m² bungalows are tastefully decorated to create a relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom is luxurious and the comfortable box-spring beds ensure you sleep well. For two additional guests, there is a comfortable sofa bed with a top mattress for extra comfort. There is ample closet space, a kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, an electric kettle, a microwave and a refrigerator complete the package. All bungalows have a beautiful private veranda made of natural stone where it is nice and quiet all day and where you have a beautiful view over the valley of Batalha and the famous monastery. You can watch the sun set on your own veranda while enjoying a drink.
Nature and surroundings
An old olive tree plantation on a hill overlooking the valley of Batalha with lots of greenery, vineyards, olive groves and the famous monastery becomes your home. Its central location among a wealth of historical sites and cities is the perfect starting point to visit the pilgrimage site of Fatima, the queen city of Obidos, the beautiful monastery of Alcobaça, the "Convento de Christo" in Tomar and many other places of interest. The famous fishing town of Nazaré with its fortress and beautiful church on the high "Sticio" and its beautiful beaches with sometimes waves 25 - 30 meters high together with the quiet coastal villages of Valé de Paredes and Pedro de Moel, both with their own charm, offer a wide choice of beaches within 30 minutes drive. The city of Leiria with its old town, the "Castello", many good restaurants and authentic stores is also very nice for a day trip. The cities of Coimbra, Lisbon and Porto can be done well as day trips.

Roderik August 10, 2019 General rating:Prachtige bungalows, van alle gemakken voorzien met full hotel service. De verhuurders zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt en geven het geheel een warme, persoonlijke touch. We moesten bij thuiskomst echt afkicken van het vorstelijke ontbijt die we iedere ochtend voorgeschoteld kregen. We hebben echt genoten van de mooie locatie, het prachtige uitzicht over Batalha en de adembenemende zonsondergangen die je vanaf je eigen veranda kunt bewonderen. Als je rust zoekt op een mooie locatie, in een luxe, maar vooral gezellige accommodatie, dan is dit de place to be!
Nature, peace & environment:Rustige omgeving, uitkijkend over een mooie vallei. Nabij natuurpark, met mooie wandelroutes.

Wat een heerlijk huisje, met alles wat je nodig hebt. Een hele mooie en rustige plek. Elke ochtend een heel lekker ontbijtje maar je kunt er ook heerlijke wijnen bestellen. Er is in de buurt/omgeving heel veel te bezichtigen. De eigenaren zijn erg behulpzaam en geven fijne tips.Nature, peace & environment:Mooie natuur, waar je heerlijk kan wandelen (hiken) en war genoeg te zien valt.
