The house; about 100 kilometers north of Lisbon is located on the Atlantic coast road between Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto, on the edge of pine and eucalyptus forests and about 30 minutes walk from the Atlantic ocean coast with a beautiful free beach, where you can also get to in a few minutes by car. They live three kilometers north of the pleasant seaside town of São Martinho do Porto with its beautiful bay, very suitable for all kinds of water sports. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and stores as well as a large supermarket. In the vicinity are many attractions which they can inform you about as they have been living and working here since 1982.

They have an organic garden with many herbs and vegetables of which if there are goenough they are happy to share it with the guests. The area is very suitable for hiking, behind the house are forests and on the other side you can walk to Salgado beach.
