Nature house in Joao Bom/Bretanha S. Miguel/Acores

We have lived mainly on "our" island of Sao Miguel since 1980 - in the middle of the great Atlantic Ocean and enjoy the peace, the sun and the sea. Our small cottage (21 square meters) is located in a 1600 square meter subtropical garden, surrounded only by nature, birds and frogs (in the pond). The cottage has a living room/bedroom with kitchenette and a small bathroom with shower/WC. A private terrace invites you to sit and lie outside. So far, almost all our guests have felt very comfortable here!

From here there are many hiking possibilities, e.g. to the sea, to the crater of Sete Cidades with its blue/green lakes or to the hot spring at Ferraria. We are 30 km from Ponta Delgada airport and there is a bus stop in the nearby village (500 m) as well as a mini-mercado with a pub. You will encounter plants from all over the world on your excursions, as well as rare birds. Nature lovers and hikers are in the right place!
