Nature house in Papenvoort

This naturehouse is a teepee tent situated in the forest near the lake. Just back to basics enjoying the tranquility and nature. The naturehouse stands on a spacious spot on an old country estate that is characterized by the many old deciduous trees. On the terrain is a quiet pond surrounded by forest. The naturehouse consists of tastefully decorated teepee tent with a fixed double bed and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Outside on the large open space you can make a nice campfire. Showers and normal toilets are a five-minute walk away. Plenty of peace and privacy, but the cosiness of a (nature) campsite. No wifi, so plenty of time to relax. Beautiful views thanks to the direct location at the lake. Back to basic camping, but with the necessary luxury (such as a nice bed).

The nature house is located in the middle of the Hondsrug and is ideal for nature lovers who love peace and quiet and space. There is an extensive network of cycling, horseback riding and hiking trails. A varied nature and picturesque villages make the whole complete. Shops are a 10-minute drive away in Rolde, Borger and Grolloo. There is plenty to do around the private forest. In the vicinity are beautiful cycling and walking routes. In Assen starts one of the Happen & Stappen cycling routes. Furthermore, the estate is located halfway along the Rolde-Schoonoord footpath of the Pieterpad. A few kilometres away you will find the Boomkroonpad. In Emmen is the Wildlands Zoo, which is about half an hour's drive from the nature house.
