Since January 2019, this nature house can be booked. A special apartment on the second floor in the front of the young cattle shed. Through a private entrance and stairs you will enter this cozy apartment, with its own kitchen, sitting area, bathroom and two double rooms. Over the entire side of the apartment you have access to a covered balcony, with a beautiful view towards the Engelandsche Bos. A wonderful place where you can enjoy the sun's rays even in the earliest spring. Different from the Bed & Breakfast is the breakfast. In this nature house they use the motto "Pack & bake yourself". In other words, everything for a delicious breakfast is there. You just have to take it yourself (and bake it). Then you can have it your own way! And don't forget to take an occasional peek into the cowshed, because yes, the apartment also serves as your private skybox. Can you peek unabashedly at those cute neighbors.
Nature and surroundings
The access road gives it away: here you are in beautiful surroundings. Accompanied by dozens of summer oaks you wind through the landscape to Buurtschap Engeland, in the municipality of Hardenberg (Ov.). The name England is best known for the Engelandsche Bos: a varied area with woods, flowery meadows, sand drifts and a largely dense Vecht arm. However, the Engelandsche bos is only a small part of the appealing Vechtdal. The nature house offers you the perfect base to further explore the versatile environment. Forests, heath, water, estates, historic villages and cozy town centers, the Vechtdal has it all. The Pieterpad and the Vechtdalpad run right past the nature house and the Vechtdal also has an extensive walking and cycling network. The Vecht valley also offers plenty of challenges for the more adventurous guests.
