Every vacation farm has a granary. This is where grain and seeds are stored, so it’s quite spacious. In our granary, we’ve set up a rustic, cozy vacation apartment for you that leaves almost nothing to be desired. Across 78 square meters, you’ll enjoy a vacation where you set the pace and time moves at your own rhythm. Just unwind and let the day unfold. Say goodbye to plastic bags, deadlines, and fast food, and immerse yourself in an authentic nature experience at our vacation farm in the Sauerland. The apartment, spanning nearly 80 square meters, can accommodate up to four people. Two single beds in each bedroom ensure a restful night’s sleep. You can enjoy your meals together in the combined dining and living area. The separate kitchen is very well equipped. The spacious bathroom is your oasis of relaxation. When the weather is nice, head out to the sun terrace with seating and lounge chairs.

Nature and surroundings

Relaxing in the fresh air, listening to birdsong, and enjoying a breakfast of fresh rolls: Could a day start any better? During your countryside getaway, there’s something new to discover every day. In the heart of the nature reserve, hay meadows in the valley alternate with red beech forests that nestle against the slopes. To the southeast, the area borders the grounds of the Elspe Festival. Every year, the famous Karl May Festival takes place here, where young and old alike embark on a journey to the Wild West. Do you enjoy the tranquility of nature? Then the Sauerland is the perfect choice for your cycling vacation. Just relax and enjoy your countryside vacation while observing rare bird species such as the red-backed shrike, the red kite, or the gray-headed woodpecker. The surrounding area is also perfect for long walks. And you don’t even have to leave your four-legged family members behind. Dogs are just as welcome here.
