This naturehouse ecotourism houses, constitute an eco-resorts in the heart of the Peneda Geres National Park. Constructed 100% in Nordic spruce wood in order to better integrate the architecture of the National Park. They build responsible tourism, a friend of the environment and 10% of our recitations go to environmental causes of our territory. The naturehouse has all the necessary comforts to a comfortable stay so that the guests, not only enjoy the tranquility of the space as the comfort that the house  provides. Since 2008, the year of inauguration we have had the necessary sensitivity so that the hospdes enjoy a unique territory in its essence. A place where even today it is possible to watch the ancient ways of living on the mountain. Along with the accommodation tehey provide workshops on how to learn how to make corn bread in mountain ambinte.

Nature and surroundings

The Espigueiro house at Quinta Lamosa Ecotourism is nestled within the landscape of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Portugal's only national park. We are surrounded by the park's flora and fauna, such as the Corso, the Iberian ibex, and others. We are bathed by the Vez River, 150 meters from our houses, a river rich in nature and crystal-clear waters where lagoons and waterfalls abound, always inviting a swim. In this natural setting, and for lovers of hiking or outdoor activities, we also inform you that our houses are bordered by an eco-trail and a Santiago de Compostela trail.

    Het huisje is bescheiden van afmetingen en toch van al het nodige voorzien voor een aangenaam verblijf. Het tweepersoonsbed is prima; de (hand)douche voldoende, maar kan niet aan de wand vastgezet worden, wat ook wel weer een waterbesparend effect heeft. Verder kun je zelf een potje te koken (2 pits kooktoestel + magnetron). Helaas ontbrak de waterkoker, al had die er volgens de eigenaar wel behoren te zijn.
    Het huisje staat op palen, waarmee een overdekt (en verlicht) buitenterras wordt gevormd (bank, tafel en stoelen). Een grote parasol en ligstoelen maken de buiteninrichting compleet. Tenslotte natuurlijk het zoutwaterzwembad. (zoutwater als natuurlijk middel tegen algengroei!)

    De huisjes liggen op een helling in een mooi door de eigenaar zelf aangelegd landschapsparkje, waarin het in alle rust goed toeven is. Van overal klinkt het gekwinkeleer van vogels, of het gehamer van een specht.
    Het omgevende landschap is een samenstelling van natuur en wei- en akkerlandjes met af en toe een huis. In het dal stroomt, te midden van prachtige natuur, de rivier de Vez, waarlangs een prima (lange afstand) wandelpad, dat deels meegenomen kan worden in een rondwandeling vanuit de locatie en gemakkelijk te doen is.
