Nature house in Vetralla

Laying in a two hectars Olive grove, this nature house features a big dining room with 2 bathrooms with shower and 2 fully equipped open kitchens on the ground floor. At the first floor you will find 5 cozy rooms with 4 bathrooms : 2 double rooms with bathroom inside, one double/twin room, 1 kids room with 2 bunk bed and 1 sofa bed (6 beds for children or max 5 for adults), 1 room with 1 bunk bed and 2 more bathrooms at first floor, 1 of them with jacuzzi. The garden offers 5000 sq mt meadow, a 12 x 5 meter swimming pool, a soccer area, and 15.000 sq mt of olive grove with 160, 80 years old olive trees. A terrace at the top of the building, a nice canopy with table and chairs where you can enjoy barbeque food, many hammocks in the garden (The owner is really crazy for hammocks, from all over the world). The house is completely sun powered and you have all the facilities for a nice stay: heating and air conditioning, wifi, dishwasher, washing and drying machine.

This nature house is a relatively new house: it was built in 1998 following the shape of a medieval castle, where towers and battlements shape the skyline in the sundown. It was then refitted in 2016. You can find many etruscan sites just around the corner, even at walking distance: only few minutes walking Grottaporcina, then a little longer walk leads you to Blera necropolis. Driving 10 minutes you get to Norchia, carved in a rocky canyon and completely lost in the wild. They are on the "via Francigena", the ancient route that in medieval times connected Canterbury to Rome and even to the harbors of Apulia. And you can often find the tracks of ancient "Via Clodia", built by roman emperor. You can also reach Rome in less than 1h15'. Recently Il cammino dei tre villaggi, the "shortest italian hike", was settled just a few steps from this house. Then you can enjoy wonderful medieval towns (Viterbo, Tuscania, Vetralla itself), and natural hot springs both wild in the nature or in confortable pools.
