Nature house in IGLESIAS

The nature house is located in a beautiful valley amid an olive and fruit orchard. The orchard and garden provide something to enjoy almost all year round, including pears, figs, cactus fruit, persimmon, almonds and chestnuts for roasting. In spring, the orchard is especially special because of the colors given to it by wildflowers, including a number of wild orchid species. Especially in spring and autumn, but often also in the winter months, the temperature is pleasant and you can fully enjoy peace and nature. A wonderful place, but the road to it is generally considered "exciting. The 200 meter long narrow road leading to the cottage becomes unpaved and quite steep at the end. This is a bit of a scare the first time, but even with an ordinary rental car it is quite possible to drive up and down this road.

The coast is about 10 kilometers away. Impressive rock formations alternate with beautiful, long, but also small, quiet sandy beaches. Outside the main season, you are virtually alone here lying or walking. This part of Sardinia also has a number of extensive nature reserves where beautiful walks and bike rides can be made. In the nature house there are hiking maps and booklets with extensively described hiking routes. The capital Cagliari is also well worth a visit. The covered fish market San Benedetto is full of life in the morning and you will find a wide variety of freshly caught fish. At the National History Museum, a rich collection charts the extraordinary history of Sardinia. If you then visit the Nuraghe of Barumini with this knowledge, this pre-Bronze Age settlement becomes even more impressive. But you can also go sailing or canoeing along the coast, go horseback riding or climbing.... In fact, too many to mention.
