Come enjoy our cozy, detached guesthouse—located in the former boiler house on our farm in the Drenthe countryside! Plenty of privacy, a private kitchen and bathroom, and a garden with a patio. Located near the Kyllotsbos and surrounded by beautiful nature reserves, such as the Hijkerveld, Fochteloerveen, and Drents Friese Wold. These are wonderful areas for hikers and cyclists to explore. From the property, you can follow various bike route junctions. In the immediate vicinity of the cottage, you can easily bike to charming villages like Appelscha and Diever. Assen is easily accessible, including by public transportation; the bus stop is just a short distance away. The area offers many attractions, such as the Drents Museum, the Veenhuizen Prison Museum, and the TT Circuit. Or simply come to relax—with a book in the garden, enjoying the beautiful skies or the sunset. Parking is available on the property, and bicycles can be stored indoors, where they can also be charged.

Our guesthouse is located in the former boiler house and was built in 1936. It features all the amenities needed to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You can enjoy the terrace until late in the evening, and on warm days, there are plenty of spots to find some shade. The surroundings are beautiful, and the nature reserves are so close by! Fine cottage close to basic amenities and nature. Of all amenities. Fine also to enjoy nature in peace :)
Fijn huisje dicht bij basis voorzieningen en natuur. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima ook even in rust te genieten van de natuur :)
I went by bike to the Fochteloërveen every day. Other places I did not yet manage to get to by bicycle. But did invite me to go again with some better weather.
Ik ben elke dag op de fiets naar de Fochteloërveen gegaan. Andere plekken lukte mij nog niet om te komen per fiets. Maar nodigde mij wel uit om nog eens te gaan met wat beter weer.
