Nature house in Papenvoort

Wonderfully decorated cottage with excellent bed and chairs around the fireplace.

Schitterend ingericht huisje met prima bed en stoelen rond de open haard.

Lots of space and forest around the cottage. A fairly quiet place with great sense of freedom.

Veel ruimte en bos om het huisje. Een vrij rustige plek met groot gevoel van vrijheid.

Used condom in bed! Extremely shocked during our stay! At 00:30 after having a drink at the campfire, we found a used condom IN OUR BED! After raising this with the reception the next morning, we would be contacted. During this contact it appeared that we were not taken seriously and they were lenient about the complaint and put the fault on us. After reporting to the reception it appeared that we arrived a day later than planned, this was also at half past 5 in the evening. This was only pointed out when we came to report that there was a used condom in our bed and not at the time we checked in or received an email at all that we had missed our check-in date.

The owner's response was that the condom was thick under the mattress, but it was really in plain sight between the mattress and the bed frame and should have been noticed during the "changing?" of the bed. Which therefore probably was not the case.(see photo) In short we could get a refund of the cleaning fee or a free night off-season and vacation, which of course we were absolutely not interested in after finding a used condom in our bed.

Gebruikt condoom in bed!

Uiterst geschrokken tijdens ons verblijf! Om 00:30 na wat gedronken te hebben bij het kampvuur, troffen wij een gebruikte condoom aan IN ONS BED! Na dit de volgende ochtend te hebben aangekaart bij de receptie zou er contact met ons opgenomen worden. Tijdens dit contact bleek dat wij niet serieus genomen werden en er werd coulant gedaan over de klacht en werd de fout bij ons gelegd. ZEER ONPROFFESIONEEL!

Na het melden bij de receptie bleek dat we een dag later dan gepland waren aangekomen, dit was ook pas om half 6 ’s avonds. Dit werd pas aangegeven toen we kwamen melden dat er een gebruikt condoom in ons bed lag en niet op het moment dat we incheckte of überhaupt een mail ontvangen dat we onze incheckdatum hadden gemist.

De reactie van de eigenaar was dat het condoom dik onder het matras lag, maar het lag toch echt in het zicht tussen het matras en het bedframe in en had opgemerkt moeten worden tijden het ‘verschonen?’ van het bed. Wat dus waarschijnlijk ook niet het geval is geweest. (zie foto)

Kortom we konden de schoonmaakkosten terugkrijgen of een gratis overnachting buiten het hoogseizoen en vakantie om, waar we natuurlijk absoluut niet meer in geïnteresseerd zijn na het vinden van een gebruikt condoom in ons bed.
