For the whole family, there is ample opportunity for entertainment in the area. From strolling along the struin- and dune path in the Langeloërduinen, high through the treetops on the Boomkroonpad to swimming in a pool or the Ronostrand (ideal with children and only a few hundred meters as the crow flies). Tinkering in the Toy Museum in Roden, to Kabouterland in Exloo or a day at Landgoed Nienoord (with real mini steam trains that take you around). Let yourself be pampered in one of the cozy restaurants in Norg or nearby Roden (Landgoed Mensinghe is highly recommended!). Alternate your stay at the lake with a day in Groningen or relax at Sauna Peize. In short, plenty of entertainment for young and old!
