Nature house in Pietranico

It is a large house excellent for, in our case, two grandparents with daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. The pool was number one for the grandchildren. There are toys and games in the house. Plates, cutlery, etc. are plentiful. Besides the pool, the porch was our favorite spot. Shielded from the sun and overlooking the area, it is a good place to be. The balcony by the kitchen was a wonderful place for two grandparents to relax with a drink and a book. Coming from a dirt road, the house has a paved driveway. We have rented many houses in Italy, but we have never experienced this. Very pleasant. From the tower room you can reach the roof terrace which offers a nice view of the surroundings. The owner, through books, shoes, boots, drawings, paintings, prints and other items is emphatic. As a result, there is little to no closet space for one's own clothes, etc. This abundance of the owner's personal belongings sometimes made us feel like we were visiting rather than having rented a vacation home. Because we were outside a lot, our overall experience is very good.

Het is een groot huis dat uitstekend geschikt is voor, in ons geval, twee grootouders met dochter, schoonzoon en kleinkinderen. Het zwembad stond voor de kleinkinderen op nummer één. In het huis zijn speelgoed en spelletjes aanwezig. Borden, bestek e.d. zijn in ruime mate aanwezig. Naast het zwembad was de veranda onze favoriete plek. Afgeschermd van de zon en met uitzicht over de omgeving is het er goed toeven. Het balkonnetje bij de keuken was een heerlijke plek voor twee grootouders om, met een drankje en een boek, bij te komen. Komend van een onverharde weg heeft het huis een verharde oprit. We hebben veel huizen gehuurd in Italië, maar dit hebben we nog nooit meegemaakt. Heel prettig. Vanuit de torenkamer is het dakterras te bereiken dat een mooi zicht op de omgeving biedt.
De eigenaar is, middels boeken, schoenen, laarzen, tekeningen, schilderijen, prenten en andere spullen nadrukkelijk aanwezig. Daardoor is er weinig tot geen kastruimte voor de eigen kleding e.d. Door die overvloed aan persoonlijke spullen van de eigenaar hadden we soms het gevoel dat we op bezoek waren in plaats van een vakantiehuis te hebben gehuurd. Omdat we veel buiten waren is onze algemene ervaring heel goed.

The house with tower stands on a large piece of land on which there are no other houses. From the pool you can see, over the olive trees, the church tower of the town of Pietranico. Peace and space are the words that perfectly suit this place. The pool is a little higher than the house and from there you can see the surrounding area.

Het huis met toren staat op een groot stuk land waarop geen andere huizen staan. Vanaf het zwembad is, over de olijfbomen heen, de kerktoren van het plaatsje Pietranico te zien. Rust en ruimte zijn de woorden die uitstekend bij deze plek passen. Het zwembad ligt wat hoger dan het huis en van daaruit is de wijde omgeving te zien.

Beautiful large house, fully equipped, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. We really felt at home there. The covered terrace with the large table was perfect for outdoor dining and after dinner. We enjoyed the tranquility, the great views and the fine pool. The view from the pool is also phenomenal.

Prachtig groot huis, van alle gemakken voorzien, goed uitgerust en heel smaakvol ingericht. We hebben ons er echt thuis gevoeld. Het overdekte terras met de grote tafel was perfect om buiten te eten en na te tafelen. We hebben genoten van de rust, het geweldige uitzicht en het fijne zwembad. Het uitzicht vanuit het zwembad is ook fenomenaal.

Superb and quiet location in the beautiful Abruzzo region. Great views over the peaks of the nature reserves of Gran Sasso and Majella. Very nice and beautiful region for family and walking vacations. Old beautiful villages, pleasant and helpful people, mountains, gorges with rivers: we enjoyed!

Schitterend en rustig gelegen in de mooie Abruzze regio. Geweldig uitzicht over de toppen van de natuurgebieden Gran Sasso en Majella. Hele fijne en prachtige regio voor familie- en wandelvakantie. Oude mooie dorpjes, prettige en behulpzame bevolking, bergen, kloven met riviertjes: we hebben genoten!
