This nature house is on a small glamping site in Central Portugal. It is located near Lake Cabril with many historical sites about an hour's drive away. The beaches of the beautiful Silver Coast are also just over an hour from the nature house. For nature lovers there is plenty to see, there are several beautiful hiking trails nearby. For those with a more active vacation in mind, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, swimming and more are available nearby! The glamping is completely free-standing. There are two teepees and one tent for rent. Each tent has its own private outdoor space.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in a small green valley 20 minutes walk from the reservoir Cabril. The valley is covered with a variety of oak, fruit, olive and nut trees. These trees provide wonderful cooling shade that is much needed on hot summer days. A 20 minute drive away is the beautiful village of Pedrogao Peqeuno surrounded by fantastic hiking trails. Here you can also rent mountain bikes, kayaks, quads and you can find several outdoor activities. Nearby are several river beaches, hidden between rocks in small green paradises with refreshing water and waterfalls. Lake Cabril has a floating swimming pool but in addition, there are plenty of places to swim freely of course. There are also opportunities to rent boats. Lake Cabril continues after the dam as the Zezere River which is perfect for wonderful kayaking routes. The peace and quiet on the river is breathtaking. All in all; plenty to see and do around the nature house.
