Nature house in Vlieland

Price-quality ratio was not good. Relatively high rent with few luxuries As basic though okay

In itself plenty of peace and privacy but a playground right next to the cottage was very surprising and not in keeping with the experiences we have with Nature houses

Op zich veel rust en privacy maar een speelterrein direct naast het huisje was erg verrassend en niet passend in de ervaringen die wij hebben met Natuurhuisjes

From the village of Oost Vlieland you can walk to the cottage in fifteen minutes. You are then in the dunes. If you cross the last dune you are on a beautiful beach! There are almost no cars on Vlieland and that makes it not only quiet on the road but it is also noticeable that there is no noise! For cyclists, the island is less interesting, but that makes it for the ordinary cyclist nice and quiet on the bike paths. There is a lot of forest on Vlieland, and many hiking trails so you can combine your bike ride with a walk. We found the walk at Kroons polders very beautiful and varied. A wonderful place also for bird watching. Nature has the main role on Vlieland and that is a fantastic experience!

Vanuit het dorpje Oost Vlieland kun je in vijftien minuten naar het huisje lopen. Je zit dan in de duinen. Als je de laatste duin oversteekt zit je op een prachtig strand!! Er rijden bijna geen autos op Vlieland en dat maakt het niet alleen rustig op de weg maar ook valt het op dat er geen van lawaai is!
Voor wielrenners is het eiland minder interessant, maar dat maakt het voor de gewone fietser heerlijk rustig op de fietspaden. Er is veel bos op Vlieland, en vele wandelpaden zodat je je fietstocht met een wandeling kunt combineren. Wij vonden de wandeling bij Kroons polders erg mooi en afwisselend. Een prachtige plek ook om vogels te kijken. De natuur heeft de hoofdrol op Vlieland en dat is een fantastische beleving!

Lovely cottage! Very practical and yet cozy.

Heerlijk huisje! Heel praktisch en toch gezellig.

We had a wonderful week in the cottage, but noticed at the dawn of the weekend, that the peace and quiet here is relative. In the area where the house is located there are and come more and more measure large luxury homes and if they are all populated hits.........dan it may be a bit contradictory with the concept of "Nature House" Is incidentally also a point of attention for Vlieland itself, we think, as residents of Zeeland, where e.e.a. also quite out of hand.

We hebben een prachtige week gehad in het huisje, maar merkte bij het aanbreken van het weekend, dat de rust hier betrekkelijk is. In het gebied waarin het huisje ligt staan en komen er steeds meet grote luxe woningen en als die allemaal bevolkt raakt.........dan wordt het wellicht wat tegenstrijdig met het begrip "Natuurhuisje"
Is overigens ook wel een puntje van aandacht voor Vlieland zelf, denken wij, als inwoners van Zeeland, waar e.e.a. ook behoorlijk uit de hand is gelopen.

The cottage is simple, but fully equipped and we also had a great time. Transporting luggage and renting bed and bath linen is fine in Vlieland. Only one set of bath towels is a bit meager for a week, but the cottage in itself comes highly recommended.

Het huisje is eenvoudig, maar van alle gemakken voorzien en we hebben het er ook erg naar onze zin gehad.
Het vervoer van bagage en de huur van het bed- en badlinnen is prima geregeld in Vlieland. Alleen één setje badlinnen is wat mager voor een week.
Maar het huisje op zich is een aanrader.
