A cozy little cottage where you can spend a few days getting back to basics.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

Surrounded by nature. A view of a field bordered by woods.
The chirping of birds, roe deer making an appearance. At one with nature.

The owners built a charming little wooden cottage in a nature reserve using materials they had on hand. The cottage has a lovely porch for observing wildlife and a large skylight so you can look outside from your bed.
The cottage is simple but equipped with all the amenities you need.

The owner has replaced the umbrella with a new one.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

A wonderful place to sit on the porch and take in the surroundings. We spent hours watching hares, roe deer, woodpeckers, finches, and more.

    Not okay see above.

    Nature, peace & environment: 3 /5

Well, it was very disappointing. The dilapidated wooden cabin is on a flat cart, so with every movement the cabin wobbles back and forth. There was no smoke detector and the power comes in via reel at 1 point, not really safe. There was really not cleaned although the landlord said it was cleaned. In some places the wood was broken or gone so chance of splinters in your feet. There was a parasol that is ripe for the dump. (Foot rusted and was hanging at half 11 so didn't use it.) If you rent out a cottage/cabin or room it should be clean and in order. We have a cottage ourselves that we rent out so know how guests like it and how it should be.

What does “Fireworks-free” mean?
The host indicates that the area is firework-free. Firework-free means that no firework bangs can be heard in and around the accommodation. You might occasionally hear some noise or see some light from fireworks set off outside the immediate area. It is important that you agree with the landlord on what you can expect.
Selection of activities
After each stay, we invite our guests to rate the nature house, the surroundings, and specific activities. An activity is only shown at a nature house if it meets two conditions: at least 20 unique reviews have been given, and at least 60% of guests gave a score of ‘amazing’ (3/4) or ‘wow’ (4/4).
