The nature house (maximum 8 people) is a beautiful, well hidden paradise in the middle of the Green Heart. Located in the silence area and also nature reserve EHS, Natura 2000. Spacious and comfortable family accommodation on private lake near historic mill. There are two double bedrooms with bathroom-en-suite and a large sleeping loft (loft) with four single beds with a third bathroom on the ground floor. Dine with the family on your own dock, overlooking the private lake at sunset. There is much to do swimming, rowing, canoeing, trampolining, soccer, badminton, hiking or sailing (just for the kids). The nature house is spectacularly located on an unpaved dike, part of the Dutch Waterline. Private parking on paved road fifteen minutes walk or row. Total estate is five acres (house, land and associated water). Note that the water on which the house is located is not in direct connection with the Reeuwijkse Plassen.
Nature and surroundings
The estate is located in the middle of the silence area/nature reserve Natura2000 of Staatsbosbeheer and nature reserve Oukoop Negenviertel, located right next to the Reeuwijkse Plassen. Nature prevails here, man adapts. In this quiet area only soft background music may be played. Many species of birds (Egrets, Bitterns, Kingfishers, Cormorants different species of Geese and Ducks, Pheasants, meadow birds and birds of prey). By connecting different nature reserves, the Fish Otter has also returned to the nature reserve. You will also find pine marten, weasels, hares and many other animals. In the water you will find a wealth of Dutch freshwater fish such as pikeperch, pike, tench, eel, roach, perch, bream and carp. Flora is also doing well. Many protected plants such as Marsh Orchid, Cuckoo Flower, Dotter, Water Plantain, Swan Flower, Honesty and, for example, Dog's Wear. It is a true paradise located the Randstad, in the Green Heart of Holland.
