Our Nature house is in a wonderfully quiet location on the edge of the forest. Ideal for nature lovers and anglers, as there are several lakes nearby. The nearest town with shopping facilities is 30 km away. The cottage is a three-minute walk from our own house, where we live together with a free-roaming pack of huskies and also offer tours on request and subject to availability. Please contact us for availability and prices. Furthermore, there is an enclosure with two pigs and a chicken enclosure with some chickens on the same property, which, rescued from laying stations, are allowed to enjoy their retirement here. As we are not connected to the sewage system, the house has a waterless separate toilet. In the winter months, the shower (with a large bathtub in a beautiful wood-paneled room) is located in the outbuilding, which is 10 meters away.

The cottage is absolutely fine. Tip, Google Maps sends you via an inaccessible road. You really need to take the road from the south (via Angersjo).

A real nature house with water source and composting toilet. Neatly renovated cottage that was totally adequate. We had a nice week. Alice and Martin were very welcoming. And we enjoyed all the animals on the property. The Skog museum is definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The first few days some getting used to the compost toilet and the small shower. The mattresses on the bed are rather on the soft side for us. The reception by Alice was very welcoming and friendly. We walked twice to the Skog museum, where Martin is the caretaker and bakes delicious pancakes. We also went a few times further afield, such as to Mora, Örstersund and the wildlife park in Järvö. In the nearby Hamra National Park there are beautiful hiking trails over planks in the wetlands, but please note that the 6 hours for the 10 km red route is really 6 hours. The other routes are quite doable. Maybe we will come back in winter :)

What a nice place!!! So lovingly, and amidst the animals who are so well kept! These are very friendly and conscious people who have a heart for nature, animals ánd humans too!!:) Alice was my 'host' and she was really very helpful, communicative and friendly. I also booked some husky tours with these people, I think this is one of the best places for Husky's. They treat them so well!!! Thanks to the water out of their well, the fire in the hearth, watching the goats and the cows, and everything, I felt healthy in three days after my arrival. I feel Gratitude to this place.

What does “contactless stay” mean?
You can stay here without personal contact with the host, for example via a key safe or digital access. A contactless stay does not always have to be mandatory.
Selection of activities
After each stay, we invite our guests to rate the nature house, the surroundings, and specific activities. An activity is only shown at a nature house if it meets two conditions: at least 20 unique reviews have been given, and at least 60% of guests gave a score of ‘amazing’ (3/4) or ‘wow’ (4/4).
