The wooden nature house stands in a beautiful spot in the landlords' yard. The nature house is totally made of wood and insulated with natural materials. The accommodation has electric heating (IR panels), but this serves only to keep out the worst cold, for a pleasant room temperature you have to fire up the wood stove. The nature house is connected to the water network and is supplied with hot water through a boiler. In the kitchenette there is a 4-burner induction hob, an oven and refrigerator. There are two garden doors that give you access to a beautiful piece of property, which practically directly borders the forest of the Dwingelderveld. This nature house is furnished with care, love and attention and intended to create a nice place for you where you can come to yourself. Upon arrival there are a number of baskets with wood ready, per basket of wood we ask € 7.50. After your stay you can pay for the number of baskets you have used.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is situated on the National Park Dwingelderveld with its 37 km² of forest, heath and fens. A beautiful area to explore on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. The National Park Dwingelderveld is a protected Natura 2000 area. The neighboring village of Dwingeloo has the most beautiful village square in Drenthe, a beautiful siegelike tower and a leafy center with beautiful farms. In Dwingeloo you will find a diversity of restaurants and you can visit several cozy terraces.
