Nature house in Doldersum

This nature house is a spacious, luxurious, and bright forest home nestled in the heart of the beautiful Drents-Friese Wold National Park. The property is completely secluded on a beautiful wooded lot of over 1,500 square meters. The forest cottage has four bedrooms with spacious and comfortable double beds. In two of the bedrooms, the box-spring beds can also be separated. One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor, as is one of the two bathrooms. The cozy living room is open and bright, featuring a large dining table, a spacious corner sofa, and a cozy wood stove. The house and kitchen are fully equipped and offer every convenience. Plus: in early 2026, the house will be fitted with a new, more spacious kitchen—for even more cooking enjoyment! In the morning, squirrels are active in the trees. Around the house, there are several spots to sit on the patio, both in the shade and in the sun. Enjoy staying outside in the evening by the outdoor fireplace!

The Drents-Friese Wold is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands, located on the border of the provinces of Friesland, Drenthe, and Overijssel. The National Park has been designated a Natura 2000 site and consists of forests, heathland, and shifting sand dunes. As a result, it offers plenty of recreational opportunities, from countless hiking trails and scenic bike routes to mountain biking on one of the most beautiful mountain bike trails. There’s also plenty to do for the whole family. The Drents-Friese Wold sheepfold is a five-minute walk from the nature house. Several swimming pools and lakes are located nearby, such as the Spokeplas and the Blauwe Meer. Several beautiful hiking and biking trails in the nature reserve are directly accessible from the forest cabin. In addition, the area offers various unique cultural treasures, such as museums, burial mounds, and medieval village greens. The Shakespeare Theater and Bostheater are just a short distance away, so culture lovers can also enjoy themselves in the area.
