The nature house is a recently renovated villa with a large, ecological vegetable garden, located in the Mombeek valley on the outskirts of the church village of Zammelen and near the Fruit Trail. On the first floor of the house is the nature house, a spacious flat with a bedroom for two persons. The four large windows give a fantastic view of the surrounding fields, orchards and ecological vegetable garden. It consists of an open kitchen with dining area for six (in which all appliances and utensils are provided), a living room, a separate bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, a private roof terrace and separate access via the outside stairs. On the second floor is the other nature house with a spacious bedroom for four people, another separate sitting area, a bathroom and a toilet. You can enjoy the tranquility and the authentic life in the countryside. The hosts are happy to give you tips for beautiful walks, bike rides and trips in the neighborhood. You can also find organically grown seasonal vegetables from the ecological vegetable garden and greenhouse.

You can walk in the nature reserve of the Mombeekvallei, the Koolveld or the Sint-Annavallei or hike to Kolmont Castle via the marked trails of regional landscape walks.Bike along the junctions, follow the old Fruit Trail from Tongeren to Sint-Truiden, discover the old Roman heirloom, follow the castles cycling route or cycle through the Jeker valley to Maastricht. You can also sample a tasty local beer in the brasserie in the monastery's old schoolhouse, located in the Coolen valley. A new, local landscape walk departs from here.
