Nature house in IJhorst

In the middle of the Carsten forest, in the beautiful Reest valley, the cozy, wooden guesthouse is hidden in the garden of the landlords' house. Just relax completely in your own nature house in the forest. An evening of complete privacy in the wood-fired hot tub and/or outdoor sauna (not possible on Wednesdays), hiking trails from 30 minutes to 30 kilometers, directly from the nature house. Experience nature: at night you can regularly hear the tawny owl and there are deer, badgers and bats. Recently refreshed and a new kitchen and floor. With the gas stove, the cottage is nice and warm, while the bed is really comfortable. The guest cottage has a kitchen with oven and dishwasher, shower, toilet, bedroom and living room with sofa bed. The Reest valley is the border river between Drenthe and Overijssel, it is still in fairly original condition. The river still meanders through the valley and it is a beautiful varied area for cycling or walking. The area is also known for its large numbers of storks. The guesthouse is located between Reest and Boswachterij Staphorst, a large forestry with forest, heathland, beautiful recreation area with swimming lake, dog walking area and wet-noses route, an experience path, mountain bike routes and many hiking and cycling trails. With the convenient junction system are very easy to plan your own routes. Zwolle, Meppel, Hoogeveen and Giethoorn are within 30 kilometers and the Dwingelderveld, the Drents-Friese Woud, the Wieden and the Weerribben are nearby. They are Natura 2000 areas and National Parks with extensive recreational opportunities. Wildlands Emmen is half an hour away. In the forest where the guesthouse is, there are hiking trails with posts of 30 and 50 minutes and there are three kuierroutes of about 10 kilometers that can also be combined (30 kilometers) walked.
