Nature house in Lychen

In this Nature house, you can step out through the double doors directly onto a large balcony and have a beautiful view over the fields. Two large, cozy wicker chairs (egg chairs) hang from the beams, where you can retreat to read. This Nature house also has a cozy alcove with a small skylight as an additional sleeping option.

This two-hectare site is located in the middle of the village, but it looks like a village within a village. The "Uckermärkische Seen" nature park begins here, which is a typical terminal moraine landscape with its gentle landscape, endless forests, meadows and lakes. One of the brightest lakes in the region is the Großer Kronsee, which is located on the outskirts of the village. It is 1.5 kilometers long, 30 meters deep and has its own spring. From the Nature house, it's just a five-minute walk to a small sandy beach from where you can dive into the crystal-clear water. There are so many lakes in the area that it is never too crowded here, even in high season. It is usually very quiet here, so quiet that your ears seem to open to catch a sound. At 11 p.m. the streetlights go out, and on moonless nights the sky is so black that you can see every star in the sky. In winter, tracks in the snow show that Rutenberg is also inhabited by other creatures at night. Deer, wild boar, hares, foxes, badgers and raccoons come close to the houses to look for something to eat.
