"Best accommodation ever" said one guest. A compliment the landlords are proud of! Space, tranquility, lounging by the wood fire, rural and close to the city, good beds, delicious breakfast ... This nature house has two separate guest rooms, each for two people, with their own entrance, sleeping/sitting/dining area, bathroom, free WiFi, NETFLIX and use of garden and outdoor lounge with wood-burning fireplace. Upon arrival, the (electrically adjustable) beds are made. The prices of this nature house include bed linen, towels, coffee, tea. The hosts do not serve breakfast as standard, but it is optional in this cottage (€ 12,50 pppn) The cottage of this ad is on the ground floor, is spacious and comfortable, has a separate dining room (fridge, microwave, crockery) bathroom with shower. The other nature house on the first floor is cozy and compact, with a pantry and a bathroom with bathtub. Come and be surprised by the rich offerings of Southwest Drenthe!
Nature and surroundings
This thatched nature house is located on a through road in the countryside between Meppel and Hoogeveen, next to a private forest, with unobstructed views to the front and rear. Walk or bike from the comfortable guesthouse and be surprised by the varied and historic landscape of Southwest Drenthe. With a walking junction just steps away from the first Dutch 270 kilometer walking network. Maps and routes have the hosts available. Also nearby are Roots longest nature trail of the Netherlands, the idyllic Reest valley, the National Park Dwingelderveld, the Holtingerveld, the Weerribben and the versatile Meppel. After a good trip it is great to relax in the outdoor lounge with wood stove and fantastic views over the orchard and farmlands.
