Nature house in Eslohe

The cottage itself is very complete. The beds are fine, fairly soft mattresses and pillows. At first glance it was all clean, but if you looked just a little further (e.g. behind the radiator) it could use a little more attention. The apartment downstairs was nice and cool on the hot days! There is a large garden with a small ice-cold footbath with mountain water. Nice to cool off when it is hot! On the other side of the garden was a small playground with a large trampoline, playhouse with slide and swings. Fun for the kids! Maintenance could be better, there were many nettles. The apartment is noisy. You hear the sounds of the guests staying upstairs, but also the sounds of the adjacent reception. Washing can be done by Mrs. Tilman, the owner. You pay 4 euros per washer / dryer. Tourist tax + deposit (200 euros) must be paid on arrival. At the bottom of the hill is a nice playground for children, tip!

Het huisje is op zich heel compleet. De bedden zijn prima, vrij zachte matrassen en kussens.
Op het eerste oog was het allemaal schoon, maar als je net wat verder keek (bijv. achter de radiator) kon dat wel wat meer aandacht gebruiken.
Het appartement beneden was lekker koel op de warme dagen!
Er is een grote tuin met een klein ijskoud voetenbad met bergwater. Lekker om af te koelen wanneer het warm is!
Aan de andere kant van de tuin was een klein speeltuintje met een grote trampoline, speelhuisje met glijbaan en schommels. Leuk voor de kinderen! Onderhoud kan daar wel beter, er stonden veel brandnetels.
Het appartement is wel gehorig. Je hoort goed de geluiden van de gasten die boven verblijven, maar ook de geluiden van de naastgelegen receptie.
Wassen kan bij mevrouw Tilman, de eigenaresse. Je betaalt dan 4 euro per wasmachine/droger.
Toeristenbelasting + borg (200 euro) moet betaald worden bij aankomst.

Onder aan de heuvel is nog een leuke speeltuin voor kinderen, tip!

The cottage is halfway up a mountain/hill. Then come a few more cottages and further on you are in the middle of the forest. Beautiful surroundings!

Het huisje ligt halverwege een berg/heuvel. Daarna komen nog een paar huisjes en verderop zit je midden in het bos. Prachtige omgeving!

Beautiful cottage with great garden.

Mooi huisje met geweldige tuin.

The garden around the cottage is great. The cottage itself in our case was only the first floor. There is also an upstairs cottage that others can be in. This is not clearly stated in the description of the cottages, as even our upstairs neighbors did not know that their booking was for the upstairs apartment only. The furnishing in the cottage is fine. Some small bank but for 3 people and with the reclining chair there still fine. The beds slept well and with the blinds that you can lower in front of your window, you can lower them completely to darken the bedroom completely, or leave them a little higher so there are still some slits where some light comes through. The landlady is nice and helpful. The forest was uphill for a while. There is a nice little playground right behind the house with trampoline, playhouse with slide, sandbox and a swing. This was a nice addition. The goats with cow bells on provided an atmospheric tinkle during the day.

De tuin om het huisje is geweldig. Het huisje zelf was in ons geval alleen de benedenverdieping. Er is ook een bovenwoning waar anderen in kunnen zitten. Dit staat niet duidelijk in de omschrijving van de huisjes, want ook onze bovenburen wisten niet dat hun boeking alleen de bovenwoning betrof. De inrichting in het huisje is prima. Wel wat kleine bank maar voor 3 personen en met de ligleunstoel erbij alsnog prima. De bedden sliepen goed en bij de zonwering die je voor je raam kunt laten zakken, kun je deze geheel naar beneden laten zakken om de slaapkamer compleet te verduisteren, of nog iets hoger laten zodat er nog wat spleten zitten waar wat licht door komt.
De verhuurster is aardig en behulpzaam. Het bos was even heuvelopwaarts. Er zit een leuk speeltuintje recht achter de woning met trampoline, speelhuisje met glijbaan, zandbak en een schommel. Dit was een fijne toevoeging. De geitjes met koe-bel om zorgden voor een sfeervol getingel tijdens de dag.

Ample space, kitchen fully equipped, good beds.

Voldoende ruimte, keuken van alle gemakken voorzien, goede bedden.

Fine cottage with beautiful garden. Reception very friendly. Many marked walks in the area.

Fijn huisje met mooie tuin. Ontvangst erg vriendelijk. Veel gemarkeerde wandelingen in de omgeving.
