The Nature House is part of our estate in Vijlen, neighborhood community Rott, and has a living area of 47 square meters. The living room, kitchen and toilet are on the ground floor and the two bedrooms with bathroom on the second floor. The estate has a large standard orchard and a beautiful view of the vineyard of the St. Martinus wine estate with the tower of St. Martin's Church in the background. The orchard borders the Vijlenerbos with direct access to the hiking trails there. Furthermore, at the nature house there is a former horse stable surrounded by beautiful terraces overlooking the orchard and the nearby half-timbered houses. The estate is ideally situated for hiking and cycling in the surrounding hilly landscape and is a delight for birdwatchers. Bed and kitchen linen and towels are provided, beds are made on arrival. Pets are not allowed.

The orchard has a large number of standard fruit trees with a small vineyard and borders the Vijlenerbos. For bird lovers there is plenty to see and hear. In the former horse stable is a barn owl nest where mother owl manages to raise an average of three offspring each year. Should you want to install a night camera, there is plenty to see in the orchard: sometimes wild boars looking for earthworms, badgers and foxes and during the day you can sometimes see deer.
