Since the summer of 2018, we offer two luxury family tents on the beautiful Wadden Island of Schiermonnikoog. The nature houses are equipped for eight people, including kitchen, bathroom (with rain shower), two bunk beds, a double bed ánd a romantic box bed for two. In addition, the luxury family tents have a cozy dining and sitting area plus spacious veranda and private lawn with picnic table and play area. In the spring and fall, a gas stove is available for a fee. Group accommodation is available on the adjacent property for parties, schools, etc.
Nature and surroundings
Schiermonnikoog is the island of peace and quiet and space. A National Park with beautiful nature, full of forests, dunes, salt marsh, polder and an endless beach. The family tents are located less than fifteen minutes by bike from the cozy village and the beach. While camping, you experience farm life from very close up. It is a livestock farm in operation with all the usual activities such as mowing, pitting, etc. Guests may help feed the calves. There is also plenty of room in the farmyard for sports and games, with a sandbox, swings, a small football field and a fireplace. Fresh eggs are available from the farmer for a fee.
