In the heart of Sweden, where southern Sweden turns into central Sweden, lies the delightful nature cottage. In the countryside of the historic village of Bjurtjärn, municipality of Storfors, near cities such as Orebro, Karlstad and Kristinehamn, the peace is phenomenal and entertainment within easy reach. The nature cottage is comfortable and fully equipped and suitable for up to four adults and two children. The house is in a very rural location and was completely renovated inside and out in 2011. The living room has a cozy sitting area with fireplace and television and has a dining area close to the open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped including ceramic hobs, oven and dishwasher. Furthermore, the house has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a romantic box bed for two in the mezzanine. In the luxurious bathroom you will find the toilet, sink, washing machine and a massage shower cabin. There is a covered veranda with outdoor fireplace and garden furniture. In the garden there is a wooden picnic table to enjoy the sun. Välkommen i Sverige!

The nature cottage is located in the southeast of the province of Värmland, near the border with the province of Örebro. Värmland is half the size of the Netherlands in terms of surface area, while having only 300,000 inhabitants, so nature has the upper hand! The area is dominated by the lakes and canals of the Bergslagen area and by vast forests, where you can regularly encounter deer and sometimes moose, badgers, foxes and even wolves. The landscape in this province is so overwhelming that you can listen to the silence. The surroundings of Bjurbacken and Lunedet are typical of the Bergslagen area and well worth a visit. A boat or canoe trip on one of the crystal clear lakes and a picnic on one of the uninhabited islands will be a voyage of discovery for lovers of peace and space. In the wide surroundings, beautiful walks and/or bicycle tours can be made. Each season has its beauty; in summer the fresh green and deep blue water, in winter the snow that lights up and the frozen lakes and rivers, in spring the variety of all blossoms and in autumn the deep red and brown colors with beautiful skies!
