Nature house in Ferreira De Aves

For lovers of peace, nature, silence, hiking, nostalgia and folklore, in the sunny, evergreen interior of Northeast Portugal in the village of Vila da Ribeira is a beautiful, traditionally converted nature house for rent. The house is beautifully situated in a valley, on the edge of a serra. From the covered terrace you have a beautiful view of the Portuguese high mountains 60 kilometers away, the Serra Da Estrela. The nature house has everything, including WiFi and Dutch TV reception. The casa is located about 10 kilometers north of Satao and about 30 kilometers northeast of the provincial city of Viseu. Some comments that tenants of the Casa have written in the guestbook: "How fortunate that you want to share this paradise spot with guests. For years we have been renting vacation homes in Portugal, but your house (+environment) is by far the best we have come across". "We enjoyed your beautiful house, the beautiful garden and the peaceful surroundings! We enjoyed the hikes from the house; the mapped out + just wandering through forests and surrounding trails".

In 2004 a new nature house was built within the walls of an old ruin, preserving the characteristic features of a typical Portuguese house. The casa is located at the edge of a small village, in a valley with extensive hiking possibilities. Nearby are villages where it seems as if time has stood still. From the house are several hiking trails. From the guestbook: ''There are places where you would want to stay, areas where you could live until the end of your life. This is where you feel good.
