Nature house in Leveroy

In Central Limburg is this "tiny" nature house. Between the Peel and the Leudal, in the church village of Leveroy (Nederweert). It is an expanded and insulated log cabin (30 m²), equipped with a sitting area with kitchenette. Electric stove, two burners and microwave. There is a sleeping area with an adjustable double bed (mattress twice 80x210), including (half open) sanitary part. There are mosquito nets. The cottage is detached on a large plot of 5000 m², overlooking the (fruit) trees, the flower garden. You have a private driveway. You have a wide view from the covered terrace, but you are still surrounded by the many greenery, trees and plants. You can put tables and chairs in the garden in the sun or in the shade. A wonderful place for peace and quiet. Birds and sometimes agricultural vehicles disturb this silence (and sometimes the lawnmower of the landlord). You can take advantage of what the bushes and fruit trees offer, plus the herbs and flowers. There is a fire pit at the log cabin and wood can be arranged. TV and audio available; WiFi is limited, though the main house has WiFi. For rent from a minimum of two nights.

Leveroy has a bakery with some groceries, two cafes and a church. For groceries and restaurants you can go to Nederweert or Heythuysen (five/six kilometers). Nearby are the hiking and cycling nodes from which you can make beautiful walking and cycling trips. Two kilometers away are the nature reserves Houtsberg, Sarsven and De Banen. In Nederweert-Eind you will find the open-air museum Eijnderhoof, equipped with many old crafts. A little further away is De Grote Peel with a beautiful meeting center and activities throughout the season. The Leudal can be found towards Heythuysen, but also nearby are the Maasplassen for those who love water. And a little further away are the large, cross-border nature reserves of Swalmen-Nettetal, the Meinweg and Kemperbroek (near Weert).Fun cities a short distance away are Roermond (with its outlet center and beautiful city center) and Weert. A little further (40 kilometers) are Eindhoven (design) and Maastricht, and the white village of Thorn is also well worth a visit.
