Nature house in Buurse

The nature house has a farmyard adjacent to the Witte Veen nature reserve in Buurse (municipality of Haaksbergen). In 2012, a chicken barn was converted into four new farm apartments for two to six people. The nature house is built in the style of the farm and therefore also fits well with the landscape. The nature house offers plenty of light, space and every comfort for a wonderful vacation stay. Two large windows with sliding doors in the living room enhance the feeling that you are in the middle of nature here. From the sun terrace at the apartment you have a direct view of the Buurserbeek. With nice weather you can enjoy a tasty Twente breakfast on your terrace. With the atmospheric outdoor lighting in the evening you can also enjoy the outdoors and the starry sky. A cozy seating area has been set up by the creek to cool off on hot days. In the yard is a farm store. The owners offer the possibility for groups to use this space. They also offer the possibility of cooking for a group.

The area is very suitable for people who love peace, nature, hiking and cycling. The nature house is connected to the network of rest points in Twente. In all seasons you can enjoy the most beautiful routes. Some walking routes, such as the Schipbeekroute, are already indicated from the yard. Scottish highlanders drink at the water holes. Deer emerge at dusk. Centrally located in South Twente, the nature house is an ideal place for a relaxing stay, where you experience real country life every day. The farm is an ideal starting point for cyclists and hikers. There are several routes through the Haaksberg nature reserves Witte Veen, Haaksbergerveen, Buursezand and Lankheet. These in turn connect to the extensive walking and cycling route network in Twente with the junction system. Also mountain bikers start directly from the farmyard with a challenging mountain bike route of 60 kilometers.
