Nature house in Eext

Nice little cottage, fully equipped. There were two of us and a dog. There was plenty of space for all of us, both inside and out. In the neighborhood (within biking distance), there’s quite a selection of restaurants and a supermarket for groceries.

The wooden cottage nestled among the trees immediately feels like a vacation and, just as you’d want, like a nature house. It’s clean and tidy; only the shower stall needs replacing, but that’s already at the top of the list. So it’ll be just fine!

Leuk huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met z’n tweeën en een hond. Daar was de ruimte prima geschikt voor zowel binnen als buiten. In de buurt (op fietsafstand) best wel wat keuze uit restaurants en een supermarkt voor wat boodschapjes.

Het houten huisje zo tussen de bomen voelt ook direct als vakantie en zoals je wilt als een natuurhuisje. Het is schoon en netjes, alleen de douchecabine is aan vervanging toe maar dat staat al bovenaan het lijstje. Dus komt helemaal goed!

The cottage is located in a beautiful setting, and it’s wonderfully peaceful there. There’s plenty to do right from the cottage’s location: start a bike route, go for a hike, go canoeing, and probably much more. For nature lovers, it’s truly a beautiful spot. The only thing I personally missed was more water. But then again, that’s not really why you’d go to Drenthe.

Het huisje staat in een mooie omgeving en het is er heerlijk rustig. Je kunt vanuit de locatie van het huisje van alles doen. Fietsroute starten, wandelen, kanoën en waarschijnlijk nog veel meer. Voor wie van de natuur houdt is het echt een mooie locatie. Het enige wat ik persoonlijk miste is meer water. Maar daarvoor moet je ook niet naar Drenthe.

Neatly cared for cottage, fully equipped. My sisters inadvertently tested the fire alarm by creaming the bread instead of toasting it. That one worked...! Nice that we had our own little backyard, where the dogs could also play Nice owners (with an adorable white shepherd puppy).

Keurig verzorgd huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Mijn zusjes hebben onbedoeld de brandmelder getest door het brood te cremeren in plaats van te roosteren. Die werkte...!
Fijn dat we een eigen achtertuintje hadden, waar de hondjes ook konden spelen

Many trees in the garden and the forest less than 5 minutes walk away. Everywhere you can hear birds singing. Lovely. The dogs were very fond of the forest, is something else than a round through the neighborhood in Tilburg. The chalet is located behind the inn and also has its own backyard, so lots of privacy.

Veel bomen in de tuin en het bos op nog geen 5 minuten lopen. Overal hoor je vogeltjes fluiten. Heerlijk. De hondjes waren zeer te spreken over het bos, is weer wat anders als een rondje door de wijk in Tilburg. Het chalet ligt achter de herberg en heeft ook nog eens een eigen achtertuintje, dus veel privacy.
