It's just what you expect. For us it was perfect. But can imagine that others experience it differently. But it is anyway enjoy. Tip for the farmer... offer fresh milk? Eggs from the chickens were waiting for us. Totally good.

Het is maar wat je verwacht. Voor ons perfect. Maar kan me voor stellen dat andere dat anders ervaren. Maar het is sowieso genieten. Tip voor de boer... verse melk aanbieden? Eieren van de kippen lagen voor ons klaar. Helemaal goed.

Lovely on a farm. If you have nothing to do with it you are not bothered and if you like it you get a very nice tour and explanation. The animals there: 120 cows, chickens, 3 cats, 1 dog, a horse, often calf. A nice farmer and farmer's wife and their kids. Nice view over a rolling Twente. Occasionally you see them playing "klootschieten". And then there's Othmar.... but that's up to you... but if you like beer a bit and love nostalgia, highly recommended. Also the outdoor museum is fun and then of course Ootmarsum itself. A perfect cottage in a very nice environment. A little back to basics in luxury.

Heerlijk op een boerderij. Als je er niks mee hebt heb je er geen last van en als je het leuk vind krijg je een hele leuke tour en uitleg. De dieren die er zijn: 120 koeien, kippen, 3 katten, 1 hond, een paard, vaak kalfje. Een leuke boer en boerin en hun kids. Mooi uitzicht over een glooiend Twente. Af en toe zie je ze klootschieten. En dan heb je nog Othmar.... maar dat moet je zelf ervan.. maar als je bier een beetje lekker vindt en houdt van nostalgie, een aanrader. Ook het openlucht museum is leuk en dan natuurlijk Ootmarsum zelf. Een perfect huisje in een hele leuke omgeving. Een beetje back to basic in luxe.

We had fine days.

Nice cozy house in a beautiful setting on the property of the friendly owners. The house is at some distance from the owners' farm and you have enough privacy because of the green separation. The main road is nearby but we were not bothered by it. The house is fully equipped and is close to Ootmarsum and in the area you can enjoy hiking and cycling.

Mooi knus huis in een prachtige omgeving op het terrein van de vriendelijke eigenaren. Het huis ligt op enige afstand van de boerderij van de eigenaren en je hebt voldoende privacy door de groene afscheiding. De doorgaande weg ligt in de buurt maar wij hadden er geen last van. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en ligt dicht in de buurt van Ootmarsum en in de omgeving kun je heerlijk wandelen en fietsen.
