In a wonderful place in the Twente countryside is this nature house on wheels. You will enjoy the peace, space and privacy in a unique place in Markelo on the edge of the Kattenberg and a stone's throw from the Schipbeek (200 meters). This nature house on wheels is equipped for two persons and has a bedroom (bed 1.60 x 2.00 meters) a living room with two luxurious armchairs and a cozy kitchen and toilet. The kitchenette has an oven and a 2-ring induction hob. Outside you have plenty of space with several seating areas. In the yard, chickens and two cats belonging to the landlords scratch around. Right next to the cottage on wheels is the spacious shower built, as well as a sink. In short, far away from the crowd! The nature house exudes the atmosphere of yesteryear, with the comforts of today. The cottage is appreciated for its spacious environment, privacy, small scale, the delicious beds and the hospitality of Twente. Bed- and bath linen are included in the price!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of the Twente coulisse landscape. A semi-open landscape with vegetation consisting mainly of wooded banks, hedges, rolling ash trees and the five hills. Nature reserve the Salland Ridge is nearby (ten kilometers) and nature reserve the Borkeld (five kilometers) is around the corner. Scenically, Markelo (part of Hof van Twente) is one of the best preserved cultural-historical areas of the Netherlands. With a little luck you will see a roe deer passing by from the cottage on wheels. The little owl makes annual use of the nest box, great to see!
