Come spend the night in our fun, cozy and attractive Gypsy Home. This nature house is furnished with a pots and pans, microwave, queen-size bed (length 1.90 meters), bench and sink. Outside is a refrigerator with a nice gas stove for cooking, but you can also light the barbecue! The Gypsy Home is located on a small-scale farm campsite (max 12 spots) and near a small boarding stable with retirement horses. Nearby is Landgoed De Oostermaat, in beautiful, quiet and rural Okkenbroek. There are many hiking and biking trails around this cottage, where you can enjoy nature. We have shared sanitary facilities. There is opportunity for placing an extra tent (io). There is a (small) electric heater in the Gypsy Home. It is possible to rent a linen package directly from us.

From the Gypsy Home you can walk, bike or drive straight into the woods of Landgoed De Oostermaat. Eight kilometers from the nature house is Deventer Koekstad (located on the river IJssel) with its historic city center, rich in beautiful historic buildings that you can also admire via a city walk. National Park Sallandse Heuvelrug is 6.5 kilometers away, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape. In the midst of this landscape are several restaurants. It was clean but basic. The reception was very friendly. I was informed that toilet and shower was outside the cottage. For me it was inconvenient, especially if you have to go often, but I knew that and took it for granted. And everything was clean, very important.
