This authentic apartment concerns the old part of the authentic farm from 1928. The nature house is (like the rest of the farm) completely renovated and modernized, equipped with central heating, floor heating, modern kitchen, en suite bathroom, WiFi, etcetera. It is located on the outskirts of the old Drenthe sandy village of Dalen. In the village itself are nice eateries, a supermarket, a liquor store and in the summer every Wednesday evening a cozy market.

Dalen is an old sand village, formerly surrounded by peat. This means that this village is much older than many villages in the area and therefore has many authentic farms. People know Dalen as "the village between the two mills", one of which is about 100 meters from the apartment. This one is open to the public on most Saturdays. The area is excellent to explore by bicycle and the Pieterpad runs nearby. The authentic nature house has a large garden! You also have the chance to be woken up in the morning by the sound of the small flock of mini sheep! In the right season, guests are allowed to pick fresh apples, pears and plums from the (naturally unsprayed) trees!
