Nature, peace & environment:Very nice cottage, spacious and clean! Nice garden for the dog. You are near a large dune/forest area so ideal to go out with the dog. We were the last guests of this season and now there is going to be a renovation.
Heel leuk huisje, ruim en schoon! Fijne tuin voor de hond. Je zit vlakbij een groot duin/bos gebied dus ideaal om er met de hond op uit te gaan. Wij waren de laatste gasten van dit seizoen en nu gaat er een verbouwing plaats vinden.

Nature, peace & environment:We stayed for a week in a very cozy nature house, only 1 km away from the center of Herpen and yet very quiet! Also the environmentally conscious sorting of waste is well supervised with clear guidelines and for each type of waste a separate bin. We did not do that, but if you can take your bikes, it seems to me an ideal base to explore the wider area through an extensive network of small, quiet roads with clearly marked nodes. In that wider area are many nice natural areas to explore with lakes, moorland, sand dunes, flood plains and both coniferous and deciduous forests. In any case, we enjoyed it to the fullest!

Wij deden dat niet, maar als je je fietsen kan meenemen, lijkt het me ook wel een ideale uitvalbasis
om de ruimere omgeving te verkennen via een uitgebreid netwerk van kleine, rustige baantjes
met duidelijk aangegeven knooppunten.
In die ruimere omgeving zijn heel wat leuke natuurgebieden te ontdekken met waterplassen, heidevlaktes,
stuifduinen, watervlaktes en zowel naald- als loofbossen.
