This high-energy place inspires and motivates. And it's a great place to unwind. A nice, spacious place on our estate with lots of privacy, and of course a fire pit. There is also an old-fashioned privy. You can organize fine (quiet) outdoor evenings with guests staying elsewhere on our property. The interior is completely in style, in many shades of blue, seascapes on the wall, and stylish upcycled curtains and pillows. And for the cold days, we have installed a lovely wood stove inside. There is also a handy palapa attached to the nature cabin, so you can sit outside nice and dry when it rains.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of the Hondsrug and is ideally suited for the nature lover who loves peace and quiet. There is an extensive network of cycling, equestrian and hiking trails. A varied nature and picturesque villages make it complete. Stores are a 10-minute drive away in Rolde, Borger and Grolloo. There is plenty to do around the private forest. In the vicinity are beautiful cycling and walking routes. In Assen starts one of the Happen & Trappen bicycle routes. Furthermore, the estate is located halfway along the walking route Rolde-Schoonoord of the Pieterpad. A few kilometers away you will find the Boomkroonpad. In Emmen is the Wildlands zoo, which is about a half hour drive from the nature house.

Jorien December 31, 2022 General rating:It was very quiet around this time of year, the place was additionally spacious, and certainly liked the location on the park of the cottage/car on the edge. We were there because the two dogs are not fans of fireworks (carefully put). However, there was a BBQ arranged, a nice bar by the lake open, festive lighting and the ability to start your own fire. The car was otherwise cozy and clean, the reception friendly, in short: we will definitely come back again!
Het was rond deze tijd van het jaar erg rustig, de plek was daarnaast ook ruim opgezet, en zeker de lokatie op het park van het huisje/de wagen aan de rand beviel erg goed. We waren er omdat de twee honden geen fan zijn van vuurwerk (voorzichtig uitgedrukt). Er was echter een BBQ geregeld, een leuke bar aan het meertje open, feestelijke verlichting en de mogelijkheid om zelf een vuurtje te stoken. De wagen was verder knus en schoon, de ontvangst vriendelijk, kortom: wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Christa July 28, 2021 General rating:De veranda is er niet meer, dus bij minder weer moet je binnen zitten. Er lijkt in een soort snelle fix gedaan te zijn om het huisje weer bruikbaar te maken. Onder het bed zit een plank er hangt wat twijfelachtige electra (doos open) er zijn wel nieuwe kussens en dekbedden op het bed. Er zijn bijv. Maar 3 messen en alle 3 anders. Er is buiten een leuk schommelbankje om buiten op te zitten. Verder lijken de meubels wat bij elkaar geraapt. Wij vonden het een beetje veel geld voor wat we kregen. En vonden het personeel niet zo vriendelijk.
Alles werkte wel en was redelijk schoon.Nature, peace & environment:Redelijk, het uitzicht is prachtig. Er mogen geen auto's op het park, maar sommige medewerkers scheuren zelf voor de lol nogal hard over het terrein in een soort golfwagentje.
